Style Files Vol 20 | Holiday Sparkle

Today I wanted to share two looks perfect for any Holiday party!
Both are metallic because I love a little Holiday sparkle.

This gold dress is almost sold out but there are a few sizes left!  It has rouching everywhere which is perfect for hiding a less than flat tummy!  It runs TTS.

This is technically a dress but I decided to pair it with faux leather leggings for an edgier look.  I am almost 5'10 so this was borderline too short on me to be a dress but I love it paired with leggings.  If you are shorter than me it would be perfect as a dress.  This would also be great on anyone pregnant as it is super loose.  I am wearing a size small and it is under $60!!

These Spanx faux leather leggings are the best!  They are so flattering and really suck everything in.   They also come in gunmetal and wine, two colors that are great for Fall/Winter.

The back is super cute too!

I rounded up a few other sparkly holiday dress options!

You can shop my two looks from Nordstrom below:

Thanks to Nordstrom for partnering on this post!

Scenes From Our Weekend

Happy Thanksgiving Week!!

On Thursday we celebrated Frances Moon's birthday early with a few of her playgroup friends. Her birthday is hard since it's right near Thanksgiving so friends are usually out of town.  We typically celebrate early or late.

Of course we had to pick up cupcakes from Sugar Bakeshop .  They are the best.

We did a joint celebration with our friend Effie, aka Sterling's girlfriend:)

Frances always likes to be dressed up.  Ashley brought the girl's the cutest crowns and boas.
I can't believe she is almost 3!!
What I wore:

Friday I headed to Dolly Parton with a few girlfriends.  It was seriously one of the best shows I have ever seen.  She was amazing.  She played several different instruments and told funny stories between songs.  It made me love her even more!
My blouse runs on the large side so definitely size down, I am wearing an XS.
What I wore:

Saturday was pretty low key.  We ran some errands and worked around the house.
This nightgown is so soft!!

Saturday night we had dinner with my parents! Frances loves her Big Poppie so much.

My mom made 7 layer dip, my all time favorite.
This turtleneck is the best.  I love the slightly oversized boxy fit.  It also comes in a gray stripe.  I am wearing a size XS.

Sunday we had brunch and then met to try and snap some photos for Christmas cards! Fingers crossed we have a good picture!

Loving this leopard infinity scarf and its only $25.  Would make a great Christmas gift!

I made the most delicious quinoa veggie chili + jalapeno cheddar cornbread for dinner!  Recipe coming soon!

I wanted to share Baublebar is offering 30% off all Holiday styles. I really love their jewelry.  It is inexpensive but the quality is good.  I talk about these tassel earrings often because I love them so much and you can get them on sale now!  These sets are basically like getting a pair free with the discount. You could always separate them too and use for individual gifts.  They would be great stocking stuffers.  Use code HOLIDAY30.
Black and White Tassels
Sunday's best.  This turtleneck dress is so soft it feels like a tee shirt dress.  It is under $60.  It also looks cute with knee high boots.  I am wearing a size small.  It comes in 3 other colors: black, olive green, and burgundy.
My booties are my new jam.  I bought them last week and wore them all weekend.  They go with everything and are so comfy!

Have a wonderful start to your week.
