Obsessions + LIKEtoKNOW.it App

I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start! First of all super exciting news is the new Liketoknow.it App has launched.  It is crazy what technology can do these days.  The app is free in the app store and it allows you to be able to screen shot an image and immediately shop it.  What makes it different from liketoknow.it is that you don't have to wait for an email, you can immediately shop.

Here is how it works:
1) Download the liketoknow.it app
2) Once you download it you will sign and it will walk you through the steps to set up.
3) If you see one of my pictures on instagram you want to shop simply take a screen shot. The cool thing is this also works with snapchap, facebook, and instastories.  You will be able to shop from all these outlets as well.  The picture will have a small watermark in the right hand corner so you know it will work with the app.
4) About 10-15 secs after you screen shot the image you will receive a notification from the liketoknow.it app with all the products ready to shop.
5) The app will open or you can open the app to see all the products and shop.

Regular liketoknow.it will still work the same.  So if you prefer to just like a picture and receive an email it works that way too!

Now onto a few things I am loving.

I wore this yesterday.  I love the ruffle sleeve detail.  Tee shirt dresses are my favorite because they are so effortless and comfortable for running around with the kids. I am wearing a size 1 (small).

also wearing Necklaces | Sandals | Purse

This is super cute, comes in several colors and is under $50.

Such a classic maxi dress that you could dress up or down.  Also comes in navy and black and is under $70.

Major love for this tassel dress.

Dolce vita shoes are my favorite!  They are always so comfy.
I also love the flat version as well.
I just ordered this.  I have the long sleeve version in 2 colors and love the style.

These are the best.  They just came out with some new colors and I am loving this blue.

This also comes in black.  The lace detail is so pretty.

I am loving the new Lake Pj's abstract designs.  I own a few pairs of these and they are so soft!  They make a great gift for a new mom too:)

I have this in black from last year and love it.  Such a flattering one piece.  I am obsessed with this blue color it just came out in.

I love the soft colors and style of this dress.

Love these pretty pastel colors.

I am loving the new Candyshop Vintage spring rice beads colors.  I have been into layering the green and pink together!

I ordered these in the tan before our trip to St John.  They are super light weight and come in several colors.

I love the side detail on this.

I am always on the look out for cute jean shorts.  These are under $50.

Scenes From Our Weekend | Wine + Food Festival

Happy Monday!

This past weekend was the Wine and Food Festival which is always so much fun!
Friday I attended a bourbon tasting hosted by Brackish Bowties.  I am not a big bourbon drinker but it was fun to sample a few.  I took notes for my brother in law who loves bourbon.
The event was held at the Cigar Factory, it was the perfect space for the event.
I love all these Brackish bowties.  They are each handmade and make such a cool and unique gift.
Lots of Bourbon.

What I wore:

The next day was the big tent event.  Of course my favorite spot was the Whispering Angel booth.

Loved having my parents in town too.
We made a friend with this guy, he was awesome.

Dessert at Rue de Jean.

Sunday we had a pool birthday party.  The kids were in heaven.

One of my favorite Shopbop Sale buys. It has the cutest ties on each shoulder too.

Homemade pizza for dinner.

Have a great start to your week!

Thoughts For Friday

TGIF!
I am so excited because this weekend is the Wine + Food Festival!  It is one of my favorite weekends.  Be sure to follow my instagram as I will be sharing snaps from the event!!  Most events are sold out but I believe there are still a few tickets left for the tent event Sunday!

I had originally ordered this dress to wear this weekend for the Festival but looks like it may be too chilly.  I love the dress so I will def be saving it for another event.  I ordered both the white and black and loved both.  I am having a hard time deciding which color to keep but I am leaning towards the white.  It comes fully lined with a slip and is now 40% off.  I am wearing a size small.
Sterling joined his school tennis team and has been doing such a great job.  He doesn't love many sports so I am glad we found we semi-likes:)
Dressed up for Dr. Suess day today!

My parents have been in town all week after helping with the kid last weekend while I was in St John.  I took my mom to Butcher and Bee (my favorite lunch spot) and she loved it.  We tried out the Turmeric ting juice and it was amazing.  It was a mix of coconut water, turmeric, and cayenne.

I have been using this face cream and love it.  It smells amazing and really hydrates your skin.

Several of you wanted to know about the chiropractor and my experience.  I have gone 3 times now and feel like it has really helped.  I originally went because I was having bad lower back pain.  He adjusted my back and has been working on loosening up my lower back muscles.  He said my lower back was sprained.  He does a combination of cracking my back, pushing on muscles to loosen them and using the table to realign my back.  Then after St John my neck and shoulder were killing me.  After seeing him once the next day they were better. The neck cracking freaked the crap out of me but it worked.  For locals wondering I went to Dr. Basset at Harborview Chiropractor.  Several friends recommended him and he has been great.

I ordered this dress and these shoes from the Shopbop sale and love both.  I also ordered these sunglasses, my friend Krystine had them and I LOVED them.  The sale ends tomorrow use code GOBIG17 to save.
I am hoping to wear the dress to a Wine and Food event today.

A few of you wanted to know about the goody bags I made Sterling and Frances before I left town.  Whenever I leave town I try and do this as a treat for them (and to make me feel less guilty for leaving).  I remember when my parents traveled they would leave us goodies and my dad would even leave us a note for each day they were gone.  It suck with me and I like to do the same for the kids.  I usually just go to the drugstore and get a few small things.  I do small toy, a coloring or art book, a piece of their favorite candy, and sometimes a small stuffed animal.

My sweet girl.

Have a great weekend!
