I am super excited because while I was at TJMaxx yesterday searching for silver shoes to wear in my brother's wedding, I found these Joe's Jean Shorts for $39.99. A real steal considering they retail for $140 and I have been searching for some cute white shorts. (Note to Matt who I know is reading this, I used a gift card).
I had no luck in the shoe department but thank goodness for piperline, I found these silver beauties to wear for the rehearsal dinner and wedding.
I decided on Dress # 1 for the party tomorrow night. It was by far everyone's favorite. I will post some pictures next week from the party.
Tonight my hubby and I are making tacos our favorite meal and I can't wait. We honestly eat tacos at least once a week. I am obsessed with Mexican food! We do it original style- ground beef, hard shells, cheese, jalapenos, salsa and lots of sour cream.
I am pretty sure we will be enjoying some skinny ritas with our tacos. Which by, the way my friend Erin brought me a bottle of Bethenny's skinnygirl margaritas last weekend to try. It was good, better than I expected actually. Was it good enough for her to be bought out for $120 million? No, not that good. They had kind of a funny taste and I much prefer my own fresh mixture. However, in a bind if I was headed to the beach or on the boat and needed an easy drink to-go I would buy this again.

I found that if you squeeze a little bit of fresh lime juice in the skinnygirl with a splash of sparkling water, it makes it better. Not as good as homemade ritas, but very convenient! Have a good weekend!

That dress looks gorgeous on you I absolutely love it. I inherited the thunder thigh and "chubby" arm gene on both sides of my family so while I am a billion dresses I never feel amazing in them. Have you tried "Zilch" margarita mix? You just add tequila and water, and you can make frozen margaritas with it as well. I think it taste so much better than skinny girl.

Kudos to having the patience to dig through TJ Maxx..or you have a good one! I love Home Goods and the shoes at TJ Maxx but I get lost in the clothing!

Tacos are a weekly staple in our house too! But to cut down on prep time I usually buy a Rotissere chicken and shred it. Then we add the chicken to Ortega yellow corn hard taco shells, add Daisy sour cream (I think Daisy is the best since it's my husband's company and if you buy Daisy you are supporting my shopping addiction! LOL), shredded lettuce, shredded Colby Monterrey Jack cheese and sliced avocados (my favorite part!) My husband also adds tomatoes and sometimes jalapenos. The kids also love them!

I had a Skinnygirl Margarita a couple of weeks ago and it was okay. I didn't order a second one though! I would however buy it to make ritas in a pinch! You will have to share your recipe! Oh and I love the shoes too!! Have a great weekend!

I'm so glad you chose that dress! You totally rock it. Such a good steal on those shorts! I told hubby last night that I had a feeling that my Joe's cuffed shorts were going to be my faves for the summer. I would wear those white ones a ton, too.
I have been loving the skinnygirl's lately! I agree, they are better with a bit of lime in them. I haven't tried them frozen yet but that may up the taste too with some salt.
