Pinterest Made me Do It

Hello, my name is Natalie, and I am addicted to Pinterest.   Any time I have a spare minute I am scrolling thru on my phone or ipad pinning stuff.  Cooking, home decor, DIY projects, you name it and I pin it.   It is such great inspiration!  Lets face it Pinterest makes me way more creative than I used to be but it also makes me feel bad like I am not doing enough sometimes.  I have yet to do one Easter Craft with Sterling or even buy stuff for his Easter Basket and that is all I have seen on there lately.  I know Matt likes it because I have found so many great recipes on there.  My credit card probably doesn't like it because it makes me want to shop more.  Either way I love me some Pinterest and I am sticking with it.
I wanted to share a few things that were a result of my Pinterest addiction.

I pinned this awhile back and finally got around to making it this week.  It works great.  I made two batches one with kosher salt and one with sugar to see if I liked one better.  Honestly I loved them both, only thing I will say is the Kosher Salt one seems to exfoliate more.  The original recipe called for Thyme but we have a big Rosemary bush out back so I subbed Rosemary.  I think the Rosemary pairs perfectly with the lemon.  This was so easy to make and the almond oil really moisturizes well.

This casserole is the bomb.com.  Seriously Matt and I devoured it.  Highly recommend you make this asap, a great recipe.  I am making it again tonight!

I saw these and promptly clicked on them, saw they were from the Gap for $39 and thought no brainer, these need to be mine.  They look so much expensive they are!

I have been on a real Blood Orange kick lately.  Juicing them primarily til I came across this ice cube idea.  I made them and use them in my water.  Makes drinking water that much more fun.  I think they would be killer with champagne poured over them.  I have yet to try that but obviously need to.

When I saw Sarah from Social Dress Shop had pinned this lovely number, I  knew she had to be mine.  The perfect easy breezy summer dress.  It is sold out pretty much everywhere in the Mint color,   but it is now back in stock in a few sizes at Social Dress Shop.

I love my new black front door and this is the Tutorial I used when painting, thanks to Pinterest.

This is one of my favorite recipes I have found on Pinterest.  We eat it at least once a month.  It is healthy but full of flavor.  We add Sriracha when we marinate the Shrimp and omit the Herbs of Provence.

I have been trying to follow this cleaning chart I saw on Pinterest from Jenny at Little Green Notebook.  It really makes cleaning simpler knowing what you have to do that day and dividing things up.

:: N E O N  S I L H O U E T T E ::
As soon as I saw these on Pinterest I saved the image and knew I needed one of my little man.  I knew WayWay was just the person to recreate this look for me.  I love looking at the silhouette of Sterling hanging in our house.  Makes me so happy.  If you need a silhouette email WayWay!

I spied this coffee table on Pinterest and thought wow that is perfect for our den.  And now she proudly sits in our den and I love her.  And the table is now on sale for $129 such a steal if you need a new coffee table!

Ok so what has Pinterest inspired you to do??  Tell me I am not the only one addicted!

Obsessed with Pinterest. I have several secret pages and I love them! I'll make Ford's birthday party page public and post about it but seriously...i have an addiction. Do you ever sort by categories and go to humor? Will totally make your day!

Of course I'm addicted! Of course. And I never do any of the things I pin either. I think my hobby is pinning and not crafting and that's okay. All those e-cards made me laugh so freaking hard!

Love those cards! I have pinned a few of them and they are usually so true! Especially the mom ones! Love the coffee table and the way it is styled.

Yes I am addicted too! I was on there a lot more before #2 arrived recently. I mostly like the recipes, kids crafts, design, oh heck I love it all, who am I kidding! It's very relaxing to me at night to just scroll through all these beautiful things! And I've gotten over the guilt part, who cares if I make/do it or not, it makes me happy to pin and that's all that matters!

Love this! I am slightly addicted to Pinterest too. I just made the best tortellini soup the other day. Hubs loved it and it was gone asap. I also am addicted to shopping on Piperlime. Every single day I "browse" to see whats on there. You should see my shopping cart. Always full, yet I hardly ever hit the place order button. Sigh....

I just bought the Gap sandals - obsessed with them since I first saw on Pinterest. They really do look much more expensive than they are. Also, if you have a Gap or Banana card, they are 40% off today! Score!!

I think has to be one of my favorite posts you've done. I too am addicted to Pinterest and one of my New Year's Resolutions was to make more things I pinned or only pin things I was honestly going to try to make! I want to make that taco casserole and I would love to paint my front door. Now I just need the time!

Love me some Pinterest......life was so boring before I became addicted.

Adding you to my blog roll, that just got deleted after I got a new domain. Grrrr. Anyway, adding you on there so I can follow along! :)

I seriously don't know how I came up with gift and recipe ideas before pinterest! Although, my DIYs generally don't turn out as planned...

WOAH you are absurdly productive. Majorly inspiring. I have 8,000 pins (http://pinterest.com/charlottemyers/) and have probably made only 2 or 3 things max. I need to get on it!

I'm Pinterested too, natch. I love the Mediterranean version of the six layer dip I pinned, a mango/mint/mozzarella dessert that has become a summer staple and I'm not sure if I would have decorated my home so stylishly without all my Pinterest oogling and drooling!

Love it! And now I'm definitely holding on to your door paining tutorial. Whatever I did not learn from Pinterest... I picked up from blog surfing!

As always thanks for this awesome wave!

One of my favorite posts Natalie!

I am always on Pinterest too and of course, follow you. I already pinned the tacos, thank you very much!

I want to make those ice cubes for champagne...looks so yummy. Think I may have pinned those already.

My favorite recipe by far that I found on P was salsa, but its the best I've ever made and everyone goes crazy over it. It's so easy too. Here's the link to my pin:

Those ecards are hilarious...thanks for sharing :)

I am obsessed with that table! My only fear is that it would be tippy with no legs at the corners. How have you liked it?

So hilarious! I am right there with you girl...I feel like sometimes I forget so many things that I want to do, make, etc because I pin so many things! haha

Amen! I waste more time on Pinterest than one should. ;) If that mint maxi is sold out in your size, check this similar one out from Nordstrom http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/soprano-half-sheer-maxi-dress-juniors/3444203?origin=category&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Mint&resultback=1312. Way cuter in person I promise!
