Obsessions

I love comfy dresses for the Fall that I can run around in and not worry about messing up.  Really loving this Splendid sweatshirt dress.   It would look so cute with flats or booties.

|| HIVE AND HONEY STRIPED SWEATER COAT||
I am a huge fan of sweater coats.  The weather here in Charleston never gets that cold so these are perfect for here to toss on over anything!

|| C. WONDER NAPKIN RINGS ||
I have been on the search for some new napkin rings.  I love to use these when entertaining.  Adore these circle ones from C. Wonder and they are part of the C.Wonder big Fall sale, where all sale items are an additional 50% off!!  A great stocking stuffer for someone.  Love the navy it would look so awesome paired with patterned napkins like these.
 || C. WONDER LEOPARD CHAIN STITCH PILLOW ||
Another fabulous find from the C. Wonder sale that is an additional 50% off.  Thinking about ordering two of these for my wingbacks in our den.  You can get two of these for less than $50 such a steal!
|| FREE PEOPLE BEATNIK TUNIC ||
The perfect tunic to pair with leggings or skinny jeans.  Love the dip in the back too.  Comes in three awesome colors.

|| BR ASHBURY TOTE ||
This tote is amazing calf hair + leather,  and shocker it is from Banana Republic.  Such a great tote or everyday purse.  Plus til midnight you can 40% off your order with code REVEAL40- just realized leather goods don't count for the 40% off but you can use code on anything else:)

|| BB DAKOTA COLORBLOCK TEE||
Loving all things BB Dakota lately.  You can't beat the price.  This is a great tee shirt.

|| RORY BECCA RODER OPEN BACK DRESS ||
I think you all know a shift dress is my favorite style of dress.  This is top on my list post baby.  Love the cut-out detail in the back.  It comes in black and army green such classic colors that you could wear for any occasion.  You could dress this up with a fun statement necklace for a wedding/party or just wear with booties for a night out.

Scenes From Our Weekend

We had another jam packed weekend but it was so fun.   The weekends are flying by hard to believe its only 4 weekends til my due date.  I am getting so excited but also freaking out a bit.

Friday Night we had a couples date with three of our best friends at Xiao Bao Biscuit.  It was so fun and nice to get out and have adult time.  We don't do couples date nights often enough.  We had incredible eats and such a lovely night.

I wore my Phillip Lim for Target Leopard print dress.  Ladies this dress is awesome if you are pregnant although I am sure it is cute not pregnant too.  It is still available online HERE and it is on clearance for $20,  grab it while you can!  At this point in my pregnancy there is really no hiding this massive bump so I figure I better flaunt it while I got it!  Kind of loving using the nursery for my new selfies.

 If you ever go to Xiao Bao Biscuit, you must get the cabbage pancake- loaded with a fried egg, bacon, and pork candy.  It is so good I dream about it.

Saturday was my Sprinkle for baby girl! I have the most amazing friends who showed up to shower me and the baby with lots of love and precious gifts.  I feel so blessed.  I have to give Sarah at Social Dress Shop mad props, the original dress I picked out didn't come in the mail in time for the shower so she drove a few dresses to my sisters house for her to drive down to me.  That is a good friend and good business owner.  If you are pregnant and need a dress for a special occasion, The Line and Dot dress I wore is perfection.  My sister tried it on too and it was cute not pregnant as well- plus its onsale right now:)  I highly recommend it, black and white is always such a classic combo.

I wore:

My mom let me borrow a few of her bracelets for the shower that I am now obsessed with.  I am thinking they would be a great push present:)  I love that you can layer them together or with other bracelets.  I am not a huge jewelry person but these are some of my favorite bracelets!

My mom and sister came down for the weekend and I was so glad they could come to my sprinkle. My sister wore one of the the dresses Sarah sent me that sadly I could not squeeze my belly in.  It looked amazing on her, the perfect little shift dress.   On Taylor:

Here is a group shot from the shower, love my friends so much!

Sunday we hit up the Butcher and Bee for lunch and had the most amazing fries covered in blue cheese and arugula.

Then we hit up the Outlets.  Sterling and his cousin Finley are too precious together.  I love seeing them bond!

The nursery is finally almost done, my rocking chair is recovered and ready to be picked up this week and my light fixture is en route,  then I am done.  I can't wait for the final reveal!  This weekend my knobs for our dresser finally came, they were back-ordered, but so worth the wait.  If you need brass pulls check out these from Anthropologie!  They really transformed the dresser (it had old wooden knobs before).
Streamline Brass Knob

That is all I have for today!  Happy Monday.  I am off to spend the morning with my mom and sister before they head out of town this afternoon!

Weekend Style Files: The Fitted Mini Skirt

I am huge fan of the fitted mini skirt.  I have about 5 that I rotate between and love.  They have really come in handy this pregnancy because I can just wear them under my belly and they still fit.
  I think you do have to be careful what you pair with a fitted mini though, because it has the potential to look trashy.  I would not suggest a tight fitted shirt with a tight fitted skirt, too much tightness and body clinging for me.  I love a mini skirt paired with a loose blouse, tee, or sweater.  It is nice to kind of have your behind covered if you know what I mean.  It is a chic look that is comfy too.  This pregnancy I have rocked my mini skirts often:

The stretchy ones like I own are perfect pregnant and not.   The top one and bottom ones are old and no longer available.  The middle one is T By Alexander Wang and I love it.  I will say when buying a fitted mini to go up in size most times.  I more often than not wear a medium in these types of skirts because who wants to see your underwear peeking thru?  I rounded up my top 11 picks for a fitted mini skirt.  I included several black options because they are easiest to wear and pair tops with.   You always have way more options with black!  I own two black minis that I love.  Chassity owns The Free People one and it looks awesome on her and is such a great price.  I have my eye on the David Lerner one next.  For Fall I would wear a mini paired with a loose tee and leather jacket like the second picture.  I highly suggest you give the fitted mini a try even if you were intimidated by it before!

Rutherford Papers: Check It Out + $75 Giveaway

If you are like me and love paper products then you will love the Rutherford Papers website.  It is filled with pretty invites, announcements, holiday cards,  notepads, address stamps, and so many other cute gifts!  I could browse all day at that kind of stuff.  I am a sucker for pretty invites and stationary.

Mandy, the owner was sweet enough to send me two sample products and I am smitten with them both.    I choose the acrylic recipe box because I have wanted one forever.   I love keeping all my recipes organized and in one place.  I have it sitting on the shelve in our kitchen and just looking at makes me happy.  It would be such a great shower or Christmas gift for someone and right now they are 20% off!

 It even comes filled with adorable monogrammed recipe cards.  I am already putting mine to good use!  (Patty this is your recipe my mom passed along to me)!
I choose the pink pineapple design because I loved it, but there are so many other great options- you can see them all HERE.

I also choose a new address stamp because with Christmas and this baby's arrival right around the corner I am going to have alot of cards/annoucements to mail.  I choose the links stamp, but you can view all the fabulous stamps HERE.

There are so many other amazing options on their site as well.  I am loving all the Christmas Cards and the green and red acrylic tray.  It would be so cute at the Holidays with cocktails set out on it.  Also adore the dinosaur stationary for Sterling!  The melamine plates by Scout and Avery are awesome and kid friendly since they can't break!  And best part almost everything is 20% off right now.
