Obsessions

Last week when I wrote about my love for the Palm Print I mentioned this dress.  I ordered it and it arrived last week and I really love it!  The fit is great not too tight or too loose and it is super lightweight too.  I am wearing the size 6 that says US size 2-4.

I am loving the off shoulder trend and this won't break the bank.
Such beautiful detail.

Always love Ella Moss and embroidery.

Great for now and into Fall!  Love it paired with white jeans now and then skinny black leggings in the fall.

Comes in 3 different colors.

I picked up this tee last week and I have been living in it.  Super soft and a great loose fit.

I am wearing this necklace above with the tee shirt.  It is designed locally by my friend Deirdre at Candy Shop and I wear it often.  The perfect piece to toss on with anything!

I can't say enough about the Claire V Clutches, they are my favorite.  This one was just reduced for the Shopbop Sale- get it while you can on sale .   I have a brown one in a similar pattern and carry it with everything.
also just reduced in this stripe version.

Such a steal under $20

Rebecca Taylor is offering extra 40% off sale with code JULY40.
This dress is a favorite of mine.  It is on sale plus extra 40% off.

I love the idea of this for the beach.  It protects your tablet or ipad while at the beach and projects the music.

I have so many magazines and I am always looking for a cool way to store them.  I love this bamboo rack.
Totally obsessed with this dress.  I love the scallops and blue/white details.

Love the ruffles on this cami.  It comes in 3 colors and would be perfect alone or paired with a blazer this fall.

I am always Ray Ban obsessed.  They are my favorite glasses and I think they look good on everyone.  Love this pink color that was just released.

Peach Blueberry Skillet Cobbler

This is quite possibly the perfect Summer Dessert.  With peaches and blueberries in the prime of their season now is the time to make this beauty.  I keep forgetting I am out of all purpose flour so when I set out to make this I realized I only had whole wheat flour.  I was too lazy to drive to the store so I used whole wheat and you know what, it was delicious.  Now don't get me wrong I imagine this is even better with regular flour but if you want to be healthy don't be scared of the whole wheat flour it worked just fine.  This would be incredible paired with vanilla ice cream.  It would make a great dessert for July 4th too.  I love how rustic it looks in the skillet but if you don't have a skillet a baking dish will work fine.
Enjoy!

- 4 ups sliced peaches
- 1 cup blueberries
1.5 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour (I used whole wheat)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/2 boiling water

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Put the peaches and blueberries in a 10 inch cast iron skillet and toss with lemon juice.

In a medium bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup of sugar, the flour, baking powder, and salt.  Add the milk and melted butter and mix until ingredients are blended.  Pour the batter evenly over the peaches and blueberries.

In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 1/4 cup sugar and the cornstarch.  Sprinkle the sugar mixture across the batter, then pour the boiling water evenly over the top of the batter.  Bake for 55-60 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.  Remove from oven and serve warm.

Scenes From Our Weekend

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Friday the kids and I ran some errands and hit up East Bay Deli for lunch.  I love that place.  I had to laugh at this picture I snapped of Frances.  I tried to steal one of her chips and she was not having it.  She takes after her Dad and does not like sharing her food.

That afternoon we picked up some fresh blueberries and made Blueberry Banana Muffins- I found the recipe HERE.  Martha never disappoints.

Matt surprised us with a golf cart this week.  We had been wanting one forever to cruise our neighborhood and drive to the Yacht Club.  Everyone was pretty excited.  It is used and she needs a good cleaning but otherwise works great.

We caught a beautiful sunset on our ride.

Saturday Frances and I headed to Loft because they were having a major sale.  This weekend everything in the store was 50% off.  I have been really impressed with the Loft Summer collection, super cute stuff.
This dress was a winner.

Fun with my little lady, waiting on the boys to get back from fishing.
Wearing
My necklace is from Waffles and Honey.  My friend Karina designed it for me and it has the kids initials on two small charms.  I wear it everyday!
Saturday evening we headed to the Bohemian Bull to have an early dinner with friends.  That place is so great with kids because they can run around in the back and play all the games out there.

The food was really good too.  Matt had the bratwurst and I had a grilled chicken salad.

Frances loved her cheeseburger.

Sunday morning I went on a much needed run.  Sterling frequently likes to ride his scooter and come with me.  I always enjoy the one on one time with my little man.
After my run we took the family and met up with my blogging friend Carmel.  It is always so fun to meet blogging friends in real life.  We had so much fun with her and her hubby.  Carrnel was just the sweetest- check out her blog if you never have!
The Loft dress above is so soft and comfortable.  It runs TTS.  I am in a small.  It would be perfect for 4th of July.  Some one on instagram asked if it would work pregnant and it totally would because it has plenty of stretch to it.

We ate brunch at Heart and I had the most amazing breakfast flatbread.  It was so good!  You know I love a fried egg on anything!

We ended the weekend with a golf cart ride and grilled kabobs.
