Kid Style: Tucker + Tate

Confession, sometimes I love shopping for the kids more than me.  Kid stuff is just so adorable and fun to shop for.  I know one day soon they will talk back and not want to wear what I pick out so for now I enjoy dressing them (although Sterling can have quite the opinion sometimes).  Lately I have been hooked on the line Tucker and Tate carried at Nordstrom.  It is not too expensive and the clothes are super adorable.  While I was home a few weeks ago my mom and I took the kids back to school shopping.  We picked out the cutest outfits- well Sterling actually picked out his outfit:)

I can't get enough of Frances Moon in this outfit.  I seriously smile every time I look at these pictures!
The poncho and leggings are ridiculously soft.   Tiny ears make everything look extra cute.

The pants are lined with the same material as the hoodie and are so cute folded up with the matching cuff.

Sterling was ecstatic to find his dinosaur tee.   I kid you not when we bought he insisted on changing in Nordstrom right then and wearing it.  It also comes in a dog version that is pretty darn cute too.

He also insisted he needed a hoodie to go with it.  I swear he has like 4 hoodies but he loves them so I obliged.   This one hands down was the softest hoodie plus I loved the color of blue on him.

This is what happens when you ask him to pose for more than three pictures.  I have a feeling our Christmas cards will be comical this year.

Frances is all like say what?

Shop the kids look and a few other Tucker and Tate favorites below.

Sweater Love

Yesterday I stopped in the Outlets to pick up a few fall basics for Frances like leggings and onesies.   Normally at the Outlets I just shop for the kids and not so much for me.  However yesterday was like fate two sweaters I had been wanting I scored on major sale!

Also stayed tuned since I have been updating my closet for Fall I will be doing a blog sale in the next few days.

Last year when I was pregnant I loved this JCrew leather pocket sweater.  However it would not fit over my pregnant belly nor did I want to pay full price.  Well I found it at the outlet yesterday and it is also online!  Runs slightly on the large side but close to TTS.  I am wearing an XS.  I think it will be so cute with skinny jeans or leggings since it is a bit longer.
Get additional 10% off with code Fall!

I got black but it also comes in gray, camel, and burgundy.

I also found the BB Dakota Sweater I blogged about Tuesday.  Must have been luck because it was the only one at Saks.  I also found it online at Saks Off 5th and you can take additional 40% off the price with code Friends!! I am in a size XS for reference.  It says the brand is 5|48 but I swear it is the same as BB Dakota.  It comes to like $45 with the discount a great price for such a cute sweater.

Everything at Saks Off 5th is extra 40% off!
I almost bought this Vince Ombre Sweater but they didn't have my size in the store.  It was so soft.

and you may remember my tie dye sweater.  It is now $120 and you can take 40% off that price!

Great Fall Sweaters at great prices!!

Asian Kale Salad

My love affair with kale continues.  Butcher and Bee, a local restaurant here in Charleston, makes a kale slaw that is so freaking good. I order a side of it every time I eat there.  This was my attempt to create a similar version and I must say it comes pretty darn close.  They serve theirs with crushed peanuts on top but I didn't have any on hand- so add them if you wish.  This saves well in the fridge for a few days although mine only lasted two days I devoured it.  You could easily sub shredded napa cabbage for the Brussels Sprouts if you prefer.  It makes a delicious lunch served with the Tomato Ricotta Toast I posted Monday.

Enjoy!

Obsessions

Loving this snakeskin dress the colors and style are perfect.

This coat is a splurge but man I want it!!  It is such a beauty.  Gorgeous paired with dresses, jeans, or leggings.

I need a moment to describe how happy I am that Rag and Bone made a Fall version of my favorite Summer tank. Added bonus Bloomingdales is having their Friends and Family Event right now and you can save 20%!!  Use code Friends.

I love the simplicity of the design on this blouse.  So fresh, clean, and modern.

If you are looking for a less expensive version of the Rag and Bone Newbury booties I think these look really similar and they are a 1/3 the cost.

also in taupe

So I realize I am sharing two snakeskin dresses in one day but they both are gorgeous and a real steal!   Different color pallettes, I love this red one for the holidays.

I have been looking everywhere for a cute set of gold serving utensils.  I just found these and adore them.  I also really like the gold pie set.

I want to add this sweater to my Fall Wardrobe just cant decide between the black or cream!

These are the perfect everyday earrings.  I always love Rose gold.

Really digging these new Zella Capris.

Life Lately

I hate Mondays and like them all at the same time.  I am sad the weekend is over but always ready for a fresh start to get a lot accomplished.

Sterling had a soccer game Saturday morning and scored his first goal at a game.  I was so proud of him.  I love the Saturday morning soccer games it is a fun start to Saturday.  Watching the kids play is adorable and sometimes comical.

The grey top I am wearing is a new favorite from LaSenorita Jolie.  I love the scoopneck and it is so soft!!

I have mentioned my love for Spanx leggings before but when I saw they came out with a new Faux Leather pair I about flipped out.  I promptly ordered them and they did not disappoint.  If you want faux leather leggings for the fall you must order these!  They suck you in and are so flattering.  Trust me these are a must for Fall.  They already sold out on Shopbop and Revolve where I ordered mine so get them while you can!

I had a great grocery run at Trader Joe's this week.  Two new things I am now obsessed with are the  mozzarella sticks and cinnamon roll bread.
The wine is also excellent, from The Wine Store in Charlotte.

Frances Moon turned 10 months last week.  Where has this first year gone??

She just started crawling about 2 weeks ago and is always on the move.  She can't quite pull herself up yet but we practice by strengthing her legs and she loves it.

I have become a regular at Park Cafe, their breakfast is the best. I tried the tomato toast last week and it was so good, it inspired me to create my own.

I made whipped ricotta which is basically just ricotta, salt, and olive oil.  You can mix it in a food processor or with beaters until fluffy. Lightly toast your bread, then spread a layer of the whipped ricotta, and top with fresh sliced tomatoes.  Add salt and pepper and toast 3-5 minutes.  Sprinkle with chives and enjoy.  It is a really delicous combo!

I spent Sunday morning at Urgent care dealing with a UTI- never fun.  However Sterling kept me laughing the whole time I waited.   The doctors put him to work with his gloves on:)

One of my favorite maxi dresses is on major sale 50% off.  I wear mine often.

Happy Monday.
