Scenes From Our Weekend

I can't believe this is the last week of school for Sterling and then Summer starts! I am excited though, I love the Summer and having no real schedule.

 This week I found the most gorgeous peonies at Harris Teeter.  I don't buy fresh flowers often but I just adore peonies and they were on sale, so they came home with me.  They make me happy everytime I walk by them!

Friday night we took the kids to the Yacht Club to play while we enjoyed happy hour.  The views are just picture perfect there.

Sterling met a lady friend and they were being so sweet together.

We caught a beautiful sunset.

I am still taking pictures of Miss Frances while she sleeps for my book.  This is the latest one.

Saturday night we had 3 of our favorite couples over for dinner.  We enjoyed tequila and our braised beef tacos.  I made a new salad recipe coming to blog Wednesday and if you have never tried Blue Head tequila you must!  It is our new favorite tequila, super smooth.

I love how each morning Sterling climbs in the crib with Frances, it is so sweet.

Sunday we went to church and strolled around DT afterwards.  This picture makes me realize just how big Sterling is getting!

I wore my Equipment Leopard Dress (also in hot pink)  again, it is such a great versatile dress.

I love the Boyfriend Tee.  It is such a great fitting tee shirt and comes in so many great colors. I have it in white and wear it often.

I tried this tunic on in the store and wish I bought it.  It was a great fit, super flattering.  Definitely ordering one now that it is on sale.

FOUR \\ KRAVE BEEF JERKY

This beef jerky is amazing. Best beef jerky I have ever had.  It is all natural no weird ingredients.

 The two flavors below are the only two I have tried but they are off the hook good.  So much flavor and the meat is so tender unlike standard tough beef jerky.

FIVE \\ Homemade Baby Food with Beaba

I am all about homemade baby food this time around thanks to my friend Melisas who created Giggle Bites.  She really opened my eyes to how processed baby food even the organic kind is.  I normally feed Frances Giggle Bites but ran out and had to buy the premade kind.  The texture and color really turned me off, so I decided to bust out my Beaba which I love and make a few batches of homemade baby food.  It is so easy to make and so much cheaper.  Plus it is satisfying in a weird way.  I kind of love making baby food:)

  and these storage containers are awsome. You can pop them in the freezer and then just pop out a 2 oz serving portion when you are ready.
