Loaded Cheese Wafers + Ruffle Tee + Holiday Bling + Merry Christmas

TGIF and Happy almost Christmas!
Sterling and Frances Moon are so excited.  Every morning when they wake up they ask me how many days until Santa comes!  I for one am gonna be happy when Fred our Elf heads back to the North pole.  I have woken up in a panic several times because I forgot to move him.  and man I am tired of trying to think of creative ways to  place him around the house!  Last night my parents took over!

I wanted to share the recipe for an appetizer my mom made last night.  These little cheese crackers were so good and my mom said they were easy to make.  They are the perfect nibble for happy hour or a holiday party.

- 8 oz grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed sour cream and onion chips
- 1 package bacon bits

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Let the cheese come to room temperature before mixing.  Mix together with hands.  Drop on parchment paper in small balls.  After they bake a few minutes pull from oven and flatten out with a fork.  Bake until brown.

They are great alone but if you want to jazz them up a bit you can serve them with a dollop of bacon jam on top.  This bacon jam is our favorite.  I bought a few jars out at Kiawah last year and my parents loved it so much they ordered more.

This was a recent outfit.   I ordered this tee and really like it.  With online orders you never know but I was pleasantly surprised with this one for the price-  only $24!  It comes in 3 other colors and is super soft.  I am wearing the US 6.

My earrings were a huge hit with my nephew Rutledge:)  i am planning on wearing them again tonight to a party.  They are super lightweight and not heavy at all.

I finally bought a watch.  It has been years since I wore a watch but I got the itch for one.  I knew I wanted a mesh band and this one is a great price.  It also comes in silver and with a white face.  I liked how flat the watch laid and that I could actually read the time!  You can still get the watch and my first two bracelets by Christmas Eve if you order by noon today.

Here is the watch with the white face.
The kids got to open a few early gifts from my Aunt and Uncle.  They were so excited:)  Sterling can never have too many legos, I swear that is all he asked for.
Frances Moon likes anything princess related.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas.

Layer a roll of crescent rolls in the bottom of baking dish.  Top with cooked crumbled sausage (I use the hot kind), then top with two cups of cheese (I do a blend of mozzarella and Gouda).  Whisk 6 eggs with one cup of milk and pour over everything.  Bake at 400 degrees about 25 minutes.

I have made this and it is great.

I would totally do red and green sprinkles instead.

Our Christmas Cards + Last Minute Shopping

I finally finished addressing our Christmas cards yesterday.  I was a little late to the game but hey they will be shipped before Christmas!
I always use Minted for our Christmas cards.  The quality is the best and I love all their foil pressed designs.
If you have not done your Christmas cards they have so many cute New Years card options.  I especially love these 3.

Many places are running great sales right now and still promising delivery before this weekend.

40% off with code FESTIVE40. Today is the last day to get your items via free standard shipping before Christmas.
I tried on this hoodie and fell in love with it.  It is the softest thing ever!  Also comes in black and cream.
I also ordered this stripe blouse.

How gorgeous is this white blouse?  I am a sucker for a white blouse.

40% off with code GIFTNOW.  This is also the last day for free standard shipping.
I am obsessed with this for New Years.

These nightshirts are my favorite. I own a few of them and they feel like sleeping in your softest tee shirt.

This has been a favorite scarf of mine this Fall.  It is now 40% off and only $14!  Such a great gift idea.
Hanna Andersson Holiday PJs are now 40% off.  There are only a few sizes left so order soon.  I ordered Sterling 2 pairs to save for next Christmas but honestly he wears his Christmas jammies year round.

I ordered this for a holiday party we have in Charlotte.  I am hoping it is cute in person- the price is great $36.

Prime orders will arrive before Christmas.
I have these and love them.  It is so nice to have my salt and pepper handy when I cook but covered so nothing gets in it.

I recently got this cookbook and it is filled with so many great healthy recipes.  Perfect for starting those New Years diets!

I really like this style dress.  It is super versatile from church to date night.  It was sold out but now back in stock.

I own these in black and tan just saw they are now out in Chambray!  Love the idea for the Spring!

Scenes From Our Weekend

Hard to believe Christmas is next weekend!

Friday morning we headed to Frances Moon's Christmas program.  The 2 year old class did a re enactment of the nativity. I about cried when I saw her walk out as Mary.  It was the sweetest thing ever.  Now she keeps telling me Jesus is her baby:)

I did a gold glitter nail for the holidays and I am loving it.  Several of you asked the color and I don't know the name it was a gel color!

We made these Grinch Santa hats for Sterling's school party.  They turned out so cute.

Friday's outfit.  This sweater coat has been on repeat lately and it is now reduced.
Lip color is Milky Blueberry it is my favorite shade this winter.

Saturday I headed out to Kiawah for our annual girl's Christmas dinner!  Our first stop is always the wine shop at Freshfields. We love to taste the wine and enjoy a cheese platter!

Then we had dinner at Jasmine Porch.  I gotta say as much as I love the Sanctuary the food was not awesome here.
Love these girls so much.  They mean the world to me.
I wore this velvet tee during the day with flats and fun earrings and then dressed it up that night with a statement necklace and heels.

Sunday we wrapped gifts and watched Christmas movies!
Wrapping paper is from Target, they had some really cute rolls this year.

Then we baked Oreo brownies.  I make these every year around Christmas and they are so good!  I usually make two batches one with double stuffed Oreos and the other with the red Oreos.

My favorite high waisted jeans are now 50% off and under $100! My ring is only $32.

We ended the weekend with my favorite detox mask and it is currently on sale!  Makes a greta gift or stocking stuffer for the Beauty lover:)

Love this quote so much!
