Scenes From Our Weekend

Happy Monday!  Our weekend was fairly low key nothing too terribly exciting.

Friday I picked up my CSA Basket.  I have to tell you I am loving my weekly CSA baskets.  It is so fun to get new veggies each week and not have to think about what I am going to buy.  It helps me think outside of the box at meal time.  I use Rosebank Farms and the produce is just so fresh and tasty.  Below is this week's loot, so good.

Friday morning Frances and I watched Sterling finish his last day of tennis camp.  I can not believe how big Frances is getting!

Sterling has been taking his tennis racket everywhere- glad we found a sport he likes:)

Friday night we grilled out and enjoyed our fresh figs from the CSA basket with some delicious Rose from Wine Awesomeness (my monthly wine club) for happy hour.

I honestly look forward to our Friday nights in.  I know one day the kids won't want to hang out with us on Friday nights so I am savoring this family time together.
I am wearing my Pom-Pom Shirt - still on major sale!

Saturday we did our standard Farmers Market run.  The sky was so crazy- Sterling asked if that was God looking down:)  and side note- that picture was not edited at all that was what it looked like!

I have been loving fresh tomato sandwiches.  At the Farmers Market I bought a loaf of the Rocco Marathon bread and it is delish with the tomatoes.  Fresh bread is just heavenly.

If you need a great tee shirt, I love the Rag and Bone V-Neck tee.  I own two and wear them pretty much every weekend.

Saturday night we headed out to Isle of Palms for dinner at a friends house.  I made the easiest appetizer with our figs.  All you do is cut the figs in half, stuff with goat cheese (or you could do blue cheese), wrap with prosciutto and bake about 15 mins.  Once the prosciutto gets crispy drizzle with homey before serving.  They were really good!
Serving platter is from Open Door Shop- I am obsessed with this Terrafirma line.

Sunday I took these two cuties to church, then we just relaxed inside since it was a rainy day!

Happy Monday.

Love you and those sweet babies. Your last quote reminds me of one of my favorites, it's me twenty-something years to love myself, I don't have that kind of time to convince somebody else :)

That CSA box looks amazing! I want to find a CSA that I can pick up on Monday and use throughout the week since I don't really do much cooking on the weekends. The picture of the sky is amazing!

That sky picture is almost so cool it's scary!!

Your low-key weekend looked perfect. Is it bad that I'm already wishing for another Friday night like yours? Why does Monday have to come so soon!

They are so cute! That picture of the sky is so crazy; I've never seen anything like that. Sterling's comment about God looking down is precious. What a nice weekend!
