Happy Halloween!! Sterling and Frances woke up so excited about today and I am excited because it means I can pack up all the Halloween decorations:)
Truth be told our weekend was pretty low key. I didn't snap a ton of pics but here is what I captured.
Thursday after school the kids headed to a fun Halloween decorating party at Camp Perri. They always love anything at Camp Perri she is great with kids!
While they decorated I walked next door with my friend Ashley to Crushed. The owner let us sample a few wines, they have a such a great selection.
New favorite earrings from Empire State Finery.
Sterling had his school Halloween party on Friday. I volunteered to bring fruit and thanks to Pinterest I found this adorable idea for skewers. A few of you asked how I did the faces and I used icing. The recipe called for a food coloring marker but I couldn't find one. The small tube of gel icing was easy to use though. Rodney was hoping he got one, but no dice.
My wingback chairs that I had recovered were ready on Friday so I picked them up. I love the neutral fabric my mom and I picked out.
Friday night we hung out with my parents. I always love their view for happy hour.
Wearing:
Saturday morning my mom did a little home shopping at GDC. I am still searching for fabric for pillows on my wing back chairs. It takes me forever to make a decision.
This tunic is perfect with leggings. I am always looking for longer tees and I love this one and it is only $32. It also comes in black and hunter green. I am wearing the US 6.
What I wore:
Matt took Sterling to get a haircut and they did the cutest faux hawk.
We had a birthday party that afternoon for one of Sterling's friends and then ordered pizza.
This scalloped tee is so cute and only $25, also comes in black. I am wearing size US 6.
Sunday I worked around the house then we took the kids to the Yacht Club. It had been closed down the past few weeks because of damage from hurricane Matthew but finally reopened. It is always my favorite spot to watch the sun set.
Have a great Monday!
