Sweet Dreams

Did you guys know it is National Sleep Week??  Had no idea, but it got me thinking about our Master Bedroom.  I feel like I neglect our Master Bedroom the most and want this to be the year I finally spruce it up.  I often have a hard time sleeping, too many things race through my head when I am trying to fall asleep.
Lately at night I have gotten into reading a good book (reading Girl on the Train now, so good), meditating, and drinking some hot lemon water to help me sleep.  Any other tips?

Fresh bedding can help too.
Crane and Canopy was sweet enough to send me a new duvet and shams for our bed.  It was perfect timing since my kids had recently spilled something on my old duvet and it had huge yellow stains on it. Gotta love those messy little fingers.   I decided to go for all white this time so I could have the freedom to switch out pillows and I may even repaint our walls too.  I did keep our existing bordered European Shams.

and I have to mention I have been loving my Target benches below, such a fab purchase for the price!

I decided to use a coverlet first and then just fold our duvet at the bottom.
The Crane and Canopy Duvet and Shams are so soft and my favorite part is they have invisible zippers so no buttons coming undone.  It provides a seamless look.

This little lady is a huge fan of our new bedding.

Next on my Master Bedroom Wish list :

Matching Night Tables

I want two paintings to flank each side of the bed. I am having my friend Ann do these for us.  Check out her Etsy site- she does custom orders too.  Thinking something abstract and similar to this.

Here's to sweet dreams.

I hope the link works but it's the 4 7 8 trick. It works! Good luck x

Looks great! I'm a big fan of white bedding - so easy to mix and match and always has a clean look.

Hi N...would love a post on your thoughts on excess. You my be too young to have that mindset, given your excessive posts on shopping and links. But realistically, do you ever struggle with the fact that you encourage excessive or constant shopping? The amount of clothes and accessories you have must be insane! Even for your kids. There seems to be more of a growing trend in the other direction. After years of fashion bloggers showing so many new purchases, consumers may be finding that buying less is more relatable, hence the rise of minimalist fashion blogs (minimalist in the sense that these bloggers own few pieces in their closet). It is constant purchases for you, so I'm curious if you ever struggle or have emotional spending issues. I know personal stories from bloggers are always everyone's favorite. You have had your blog sales that show many items with tags on them or shoes barely worn. Do you give reflection to any of your shopping habits or the message of your blog?
