Workout Goals, Gear, and New Playlist

It has been almost 2 months since Sterling started school and I am finally starting to get back in a workout routine.  Not working puts me in a funk, so I am happy to be able to incorporate some exercise back in my life.  It took me awhile to figure out what time it was going to work for me to fit a run in.  I used to run in the mornings around 6:30-7 but now that is right when Sterling is getting up and ready for school and we leave the house by 7.  What has been working so far is I take Sterling to school get back home around 7:30 and run then.  Matt's work schedule is different everyday so some days he has to leave the house before then.  But when he can stay he does and watches Frances while I run because I hate running with a stroller.  I try to run every other day and do about 3 miles.

I next want to incorporate some yoga and or Barre.  I would ideally like to run 3 days and do a class 2 days.  I am trying to decide now if I want to join an actual gym or just pay for the classes when I feel like going at a studio.  I welcome any suggestions if you Charleston people have favorite yoga and barre classes.  The only allure of the gym is they would have childcare which would be helpful.
At night I do try and do some yoga stretches at home before bed.  Molly Sim's book has a section with like 10 poses that I really like.

I mentioned before but we have finally have a Nordstrom Rack in Charleston and let me tell you it is my happy place.  Last week when I was there I decided to browse all the workout gear and found some amazing stuff.  They carry Zella which I love!

These pants are amazing.  If our store had the others colors I would have bought another color.  They run TTS.  I am wearing a size small. These are the Z By Zella brand and I honestly can't tell a difference between them and regular Zella.

The jacket is my favorite color blue.  Also runs TTS.  I am in a small.  I know I will be wearing this often this Fall.  I own two other Zella Jackets that are a favorite.  They fit really well.

No workout post is complete without a cheesy stretch photo:)

A few other fabulous Zella finds at Nordstrom Rack, most are 40% off and many are up to 65% off.
You can also shop the whole Zella Collection here.

I also wanted to share my new running playlist.  I always love finding new workout songs and I try and switch up my songs every few weeks to keep me inspired.

You can shop my look below.

Thanks to Nordstrom Rack for sponsoring this post

I just checked and you don't have a barre3 in Charleston. Bummer as it is awesome. I was totally bored by other barre methods here, but barre3 has cardio incorporated and changes with every class. It also does everything with a neutral pelvis vs tucking which has been better on my back. They have tons of online classes for a small fee each month that you could try, but nothing is like a real class. I didn't find the online classes as intense, but still a great and cheap option. When you are home, check out Hillard Studio Method. I have heard amazing things about that studio and want to try it out next time I am in Charlotte.

I love Charleston Power Yoga a couple days a week or Pure Barre. I've started to mix both with power walking for a little cardio too (as much as I'd love to be a runner, I'm not!).

Love some Zella gear too! :)

Check out Orange Theory if it's in your area. It's not yoga/barre....but a super fun workout with times that work with every schedule. I can't say enough good things about it!

How good do you look in that workout gear? Definitely love your playlist.. Hozier, Florence, Vance.. My favorites. I'm taking Carsyn to see Taylor Swift and am so excited to hear Vance open. Also love Elle King, and the Cold War Kids... Basically any alt rock that someone's singing about being really pissed off.
