Style Files Vol 4 | Alesya Dinner and Drinks Clutch + Embroidered Dress + Shopbop Spring Event

Today it is such a treat to feature a bag from a local Charleston designer, Alesya.  I have long been a fan of her handbags.  What I love most about them is their functionality.  This has quickly become my favorite clutch.  I find myself carrying it almost every time I go out.  I also love her "work satchel" that doubles as a laptop case as well. You can check out Alesya's other designs here which include a gorgeous wallet and business card holders.

Outfit Details:

I really like the fold over style of the purse.  It can actually hold more than you think.  I can easily fit my wallet, keys, cell phone, and lipsticks inside.
I use the zippered portion for my phone.  I am always digging for my phone in other purses and I love having a designated spot for it!

You know I love anything and everything embroidered so this dress was a no brainer.
The nice part is it comes fully lined with a cotton slip, so it is not see through.
It runs TTS I am wearing a small.

I bought these shoes last summer and I am so glad to see they are back in stock again.   They are not crazy expensive and they are surprisingly comfortable.
They are available in gold, silver and black.

A few details about it I love:
It has an exterior zip pocket for my phone
It has an interior slot for business cards
It comes in 4 gorgeous colors.  I am carrying the saddle but it also comes in vermillion, navy and black.
It is made out of the softest leather.

Also don't miss out Shopbop's new Spring Event just started!  You can save on my dress and sandals which are both from Shopbop!

I rounded up a few other embroidered looks I am loving as well (many from Shopbop so you can save).  I included a few options for the little girls as well. Scroll through to see them all!

Scenes From Our Weekend

Can y'all believe this is the last Monday of February already??  I am not gonna lie I love March. Mainly because it is my Birthday month and it usually means Spring is close.

Friday we had a low key evening in. We did our standard pizza dinner and watched Fuller House on Netflix.  Totally cheesy but I kind of liked it.  John Stamos looked amazing but man what happened to Bob Saget and why was his voice so weird??
Several of you asked about our shower curtain and it is Serena and Lily.

After the kids went to bed I had time to browse my new Chrissy Teigan cookbook and it is so good.  I think I fell in love her a little more.  She is hilarious and loves to eat.  All the recipes look awesome too.

Saturday the kids and I ate lunch at LaTabella.  I love their Bang Bang Shrimp salad. Sterling loves their shrimp too he cleaned his plate.

New favorite Equipment Dress. I love the leopard print and the fit is super cute too.
Saturday night we met up with a few friends at the Yacht Club for happy hour.  We caught the most beautiful sunset.
since it was super chilly on the water I got to wear my new Rebecca Taylor jacket that I scored on major sale. It is also on sale in the shorter version too.

Sunday everyone was up bright and early so I made Banana pancakes and bacon.  I swear my kids ask me to make pancakes everyday, it is their favorite breakfast.
The weather was just perfect, with highs in the 60's so we went on a super long family walk.  We explored a beach near our house and the kids loved it.

Sunday afternoon I went to an hour and half barre class that was a fundraiser for juvenile diabetes. It was a great workout!
Sunday night we grilled out and watched the Oscar's red carpet.   Our new cocktail of choice is vodka with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice.
I wanted to share a picture of my white dress on that I mentioned on Friday that is currently on sale.
It is fully lined with a cotton slip.  It runs on the large side, I am wearing an XS. Such a fabulous white dress.
This is the last Beauty Counter Makeup Monday.  Today you get a free powder brush with with your powder purchase. I don't currently use this but I have heard rave reviews about it, so I am going to order it today to get the free brush!

Rick Dean Photography

I often get email requests for people looking for photographer suggestions whether they live here or are visiting.  I have mentioned Rick on here several times before.  As many of you know Rick and Gary are my next door neighbors and they often take pictures of me and the kids for my blog.   They also run a very successful photography business.  They specialize in weddings but they also do so many other types of photography.  They do lots of family photo shoots, engagement shoots,  and newborn sessions as well.

The best part about working with Rick and Gary is they will immediately put you at ease and make you laugh.  They are amazing to work with, although I may be a little biased because they are my good friends too!   If you are looking for a photographer I can't say enough great things about Rick!

I wanted to share a few pieces of Rick's work for any of you who are looking for a photographer.
You can also check out his full website here

His bridal portraits are just stunning.

Thoughts for Friday

Happy Friday!  I feel like this week has flown by!
I have to brag a little about Frances Moon and her first modeling gig with Pink Chicken.  I am such a huge fan of pink Chicken so when they asked Frances to be their model I was thrilled!  The new Spring line came out this week and her pictures are online!
I can't even handle the cuteness.  I want one of each of all the new Spring outfits!

Last night I took Sterling on a Mommy son date.  We went to dinner at Mex One and then to see Toruk, the new Cirq de Soliel show.
They are in town through Sunday and I highly recommend it! You can still buy tickets Here for this weekend.
I am wearing:

The show was really cool.  A little weird but aren't all Cirq De Soleil shows a little far out??  The scenery and costumes were amazing!! Sterling said it was one of the coolest things he had seen.  He was mesmerized.

The kids met up at intermission for funnel cakes and dipping dots ice cream.  They were in hog heaven.

A few recent favorites.

I can't stop laughing about this picture of Frances Moon and her friend Anna Louis.   They clearly were not happy with the wheat flour I used in the cookies.

I have been on a roll organizing around these house.  I ordered these drawer organizers and they are awesome for your underwear and socks.  I love opening my drawers now without crap spilling out everywhere.

My friend Marquin just came out with a new series of paintings that are stunning.  She did a painting for us that is hanging in our kitchen over my desk and I love it.  I am such a huge fan of her work! You can check out her site HERE and other paintings.

I am thinking about making these banana PB snacks for the kids this weekend.  How good do they look??

This Joie Dress that I got for Christmas is now on sale.  The perfect little white dress!

Have a fabulous weekend!
Food is clearly my first favorite F word:)
