What I Wore | Black Tunic Dress

Last year I bought this dress from Anthropologie and it was my favorite.  It was made out of the perfect material that was soft (not cotton), didn't really wrinkle,  and was not clingy.  Well that same line came out with a new dress in a different style and I am obsessed.
It is a light weight dress and perfect casual or dressed up.  The best news is when I went to look up the dress for this post I saw it was reduced and now 50% off!!  I promise you will love this dress.  I am wearing the black but it also comes in a dark green color as well.
The dress runs TTS, I am wearing a small.

This pendant necklace is a favorite of mine.  Great alone or layered.
I ordered these sandals during the Shopbop Sale and they are super versatile.  Great paired with jeans and dresses.  They run TTS.  I just saw they also come in a wedge version HERE- so cute and on major sale.

Thai Chicken Meatballs + Curry Cauliflower + Dressing Room Find | Tee Shirt Dress

Happy Humpday guys!  I had several requests to share the recipes from my instastory Monday night featuring these Thai meatballs and curry cauliflower.  I have to say both were amazing.  The flavors were off the hook good and both were relatively easy to make and healthy.  The meatballs have no bread in them just chia seeds to bind so they are super light and tasty.

I swear I only have one kid that is a good eater at a time.  Right now it is Sterling.  As I was making the meatballs he exclaimed that looks gross like 10 times.  The green stuff always throws him for a loop.  After he sat down to eat them, he looked at me and goes " Mom,  you were right these are awesome." Winning mom moment, I love when I am right:)  Frances however would not touch dinner and went to bed hungry.  Go figure, at least one child appreciated my cooking skills.  These are a little spicy so use less hot sauce if you don't want them as spicy.

I loved both and I also paired mine with my favorite Asian Kale Salad.  The 3 make a pretty killer dinner combo in my book:)
Enjoy!

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1.5 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 3 green onions sliced finely
- 1/4 cup cilantro finely chopped
- 1.5 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds

FOR THE GLAZE

- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha

Put all the ingredients for the meatballs in a medium bowl.  Use your hands to mix all together.  Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.  This gives the chia seeds time to bind everything together.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

With damp hands gently roll the chicken mix into balls.  Don't squeeze the meat too much.  Arrange them on the baking sheet.  Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

In a large skillet, whisk together ingredients for the glaze.  Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook about 1 minute or until it slightly thickens.  Add meatballs to skillet and shake to gently coat with glaze.  Serve warm.

- 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Put the cauliflower on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil, curry, and salt.  Roast for 20 minutes.

Mix vegenaise and lime juice in a large bowl.  When cauliflower is done toss it in this mixture.  Add cilantro and mix all together.

Today I wanted to share a few beauties all under $100.

First I wanted to let ya'll know Baublebar is offering 25% off today until midnight with code WARMUP.
As you can see I am a huge fan of their jewelry.  You can't beat the prices.  Everything is under $40 with the code.

These drop earrings are a favorite of mine.  They are super light weight.

I adore the colors in this fun clutch.

I am a huge fan of the casual sneaker.  This leopard print is awesome.

I love this bright red color.

Such pretty Pastels and I like the tassel detail on the straps.

These also come in black.  They would look great with jeans or dresses.
I just ordered this in the orange color.  I am loving the loose fit and pom-poms.

These come in 4 colors.
This is super cute.  I love the chambray paired with the colored tassels.

I adore the print and style of this dress.

These also come in blue and gold.

Such a cute everyday purse.

I love the idea of this paired with wedges.  This also is available in white.

This look so much like a Parker dress I have had my eye on but way less expensive.

Thoughts For Monday

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I have a new favorite drink at Starbucks- the green tea latte with coconut milk.  It is so good!

Saturday afternoon Caycee and I headed to Park Circle for lunch and the annual St Patty's party.
Outfit Details:

We ate at EVO and it was delicious. The Bibb salad with bacon was amazing as was the Mushroom and Havarti pizza.

How gorgeous is Caycee's house??  I love this nook in her kitchen.

I just started watching Gossip Girl again.  I forgot how good that show was and I still love all the fashion.

I just ordered this Kate Spade Dress.  I love the stripes and tassel details.

I stopped in Loft this week and found the cutest floral blouse.  I love it paired with jean shorts but also jeans.  Both the blouse and shorts are under $60.

I recently got this cookbook and I am loving it.  Lots of great recipes and gorgeous pictures.
Loving this table scape at Open Door Shop.  That table runner is paper- how cool is that?  I bought a roll of it, perfect for entertaining.
Lunch at Leon's.  One of my favorite Charleston spots.

Frances Moon in 2 of the cutest new dresses from Pink Chicken.

Have a great start to your week.

Stripe Tee | 2 Ways

TGIF!  Today I wanted to share a classic stripe tee styled two different ways.  One casual and one a little dressier.

L O O K  1
This look is something I would wear on a daily basis, especially in the Summer.  I love a good tee + jean shorts outfit.

I love a good wedge sandal.  These are so comfortable and I like that the heel is not crazy high.  They run TTS.  I am wearing my normal size.  I am wearing the dessert leather color.  They also come in black and bronze as well.

I am wearing a size small in the tee.  It runs TTS.  It is incredibly light weight and super soft.
I always love the fit of Rag and Bone tees.

L O O K  2
If you need black jeans these are the BEST.  They suck you in and have the perfect amount of stretch.  They also sit higher up on your waist which I love.  You will not find a more flattering pair of black jeans.  The jeans, booties, and statement earrings make for a little dressier look paired with the tee.

I rave about them all the time, but my Newbury Boots are my favorite booties.  My stripe version is an older version but the style is exactly the same.

I have these earrings in several colors.  You can't beat the price and they are super light weight.  I can wear them all day and they don't bother my ears at all.
Arm candy-  This is my go to combo.

Both looks can be found at Nordstrom.  Nordstrom always offer free shipping and returns.
You can shop both looks below:

Thanks to Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
