St John | What I am Packing

We are off to St John bright and early this morning.  I am traveling with 3 of my best girlfriends Caycee, Ashley, and Krystine.  They have been such a huge support team to me over the past year.  Words can't even explain how much they mean to me and how excited I am for a girls trip.  It will be a quick trip just 4 days but that will be plenty as I know I will be missing Sterling and Frances Moon like crazy!

I wanted to share a few things I will be packing:

I love a nude sandal.  These run TTS and I have a feeling I will be wearing them all weekend.

This palm print gets me every time.
I am planning on wearing this for traveling Friday.  I love the embroidery detail and fit.

I love that this is made out of cotton tee shirt material, it is super comfy and a little edgy at the same time.

I bought this 3 years ago and it is a still a favorite.  It is a super flattering one piece.

I love that you can toss this on like a robe.  It is from my favorite cover-up line Pitusa.  I own several of their cover-ups and love them all.

This is so so cute on! I love that you can dress it up or down.

I finally decided to try out the high waisted bikini bottoms.  I am usually more of a one piece girl but I liked that these had extra coverage for my butt and gut:)
I am pairing them with this bandeau top.

Hands down my favorite flip flops.
I ended up going back for this cover-up.  Loved the colors.

Have a great weekend!
xoxo

Off Shoulder Obsessed

The off shoulder top is one trend I still have not tired of!  I own way too many off shoulder tops but they are my go-to for a girl's night out.  I love them paired with jeans and jean shorts!

I wanted to share a few I am loving today.

I loved the smocked detail on this blouse.  It runs TTS I am wearing a small.

These tassel earrings are super light weight and I like that they are shorter.
I wear this gold ring everyday.

You can shop my look below:

This stripe off shoulder blouse is now 40% off.  I am wearing a small.

A few other off shoulder tops I am loving.

Ultimate Chopped Salad + Chambray Romper

When we were in NYC a few months ago we had lunch at Fred's at Barney's.   I had their chopped salad and loved it.  This is a spin on it!  The one I had there didn't have blue cheese or bacon but I had some on hand so I added it in.  Let's be real bacon and cheese are never a bad idea, EVER.
I used green goddess dressing for mine- local friends Dellz's has the best goddess dressing and they sell it by the bottle now.  I always buy it when I pick up lunch.  It's so good I could drink it.  This would also be great served with a balsamic dressing as well.
Enjoy!

- 1 head romaine shredded thinly
- 1 avocado chopped and drizzled with lemon juice and salt
- 1 pear diced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- haricot verts (french green beans), chopped into 1 inch pieces
- 6 pieces cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup blue cheese
- 1 rotisserie chicken shredded
- green goddess or balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.  Place the green beans in and boil for 3 minutes.  Remove and place in an ice bath.  Drain and then chop into 1 inch pieces.

Cook bacon and crumble.

Assemble lettuce, tomatoes, pears, avocados, beans, bacon, cheese, red onion and chicken in a large bowl.  Toss all together before serving and drizzle with dressing.

I have decided on Wednesday's with my recipes I am going to share my favorite dressing room finds from that week,  This week it was this adorable chambray romper.  Super soft and such a cute fit.  It runs TTS I am wearing a size 4.  It is currently 30% off with no code needed.

Stripe Tee Shirt Dress + Neutral Shoes I am Loving

Today is all about shoes!  I wanted to share a few favorites that are great for now and into the Summer.

Outfit Details:

My tee shirt dress is under $50 and the perfect casual dress.   I went with a size medium because I wanted a loose boxy fit and sometimes dresses in the junior's section run small.  I am wearing the gray color, but it also comes in a white/navy option.

These Rag and Bone booties are an investment but they are my favorite booties.   I can't tell you often I wear them.  Added bonus they are comfortable I can wear them all day and they don't bother my feet.  I bought these probably 4 years ago and they have held up really well.

I love this new style out for Spring with the cut out detail.
This BP version is very similar to the Rag and Bone ones and under $100.  They come in several colors.
I also wanted to mention that my favorite slip on sneakers by Ugg are now out in 2 new versions.  I am normally a 9 and did a 9.5 in these.
I am wearing the tan version here.

A few other neutrals I am loving.  Many of these are under $100 too.  Nordstrom always is my go-to for shoes because they carry so many great brands in different price ranges.  They also offer free shipping and do price matching.

Scenes From Our Weekend

Sterling turned 7 on Thursday! It is hard to believe he is 7 now and growing up so fast! He is such a sweet boy with a heart of gold.

He requested dinner at Ellis Creek Fish Camp for his birthday dinner.

Friday my mom and I did some shopping DT.
My Equipment blouse is now 60% off.
We spied Frances Moon at Pink Chicken.

We picked up lunch at The Daily and had the Lemon Cayenne Honey shot- so good!
Found the cutest cover-up at Lilly.   I ended up buying this dress instead but loved the cover-up.
Also loved these cover-ups.

Friday night my sister and I went out to dinner with some friends.
Saturday morning we had a birthday party for Sterling.  His two requests were that it be at his favorite park and he wanted a pinata.

We saw the most gorgeous sunset that night.

Sunday we went to SEWE.  Always such a fun time!
Shout out to my friend Cindy who we met there with her girlfriends- loved chatting!
The boys were so excited to ride the camel!
Frances loved the petting zoo.
My sister and I had a craving for nachos and we whipped up some yummy chicken ones for dinner that night.
Cousin bath in the sink:)

Have a great Monday!!
