Thoughts on Thursday

Happy Thursday Ya'll!
Currently on my mind.
My friends at Yosi Samra were sweet enough to send Frances her first pair of ballet flats.  They are seriously the cutest things ever.  She loves them too, she always hands them to me in the morning to wear.  For those curious Frances is in a size 5, I found as far as kids shoes run, theirs run on the small side.

I can always count on Trader Joe's for the prettiest flowers at the best prices.  I picked these up this week and love how they brighten up my house.
Loving my agate frame I got for Christmas too.

Can we talk about this cover-up?  Ever since seeing Julia from Gal Meets Glam in it, I have been convinced I need it for our vacation.  It sold out after she posted it but it is now back in stock in two styles.

You have to check out my friend Karina's jewelry site, Waffles and Honey which I have mentioned on here before.  I am so in love with my agate necklace.  I wear it almost everyday.  It is great alone or layered.  It is currently on sale and for all non sale jewelry you can use code DBDD20 to get 20% off!  She is running her winter sale right now so there are some great deals.

I am wearing it here layered.

How good does this Crock Pot Ramen Noodle bowl look?  I am going to make to this soon.

I am obsessed with the new Maroon Five song, Sugar.  Not kidding on my run Saturday I listened to it on repeat. The video is awesome too.  You are welcome for the Adam Levine eye candy below.

I recently ordered this Micro-Dermabrasion scrub from Target after hearing such great things about it.
I am loving it.  I use it twice a week.  I just keep it in the shower and use it with my Clarisonic and I think it has helped slough my skin and brighten it up.  You can't beat the price either it is only $15.

I just started reading Still Alice and two days later I am almost finished.  It has really made me think about Alzheimer's and what a difficult disease it is.   Such a moving thought provoking book.
What should I read next?  Love ya'lls recs!

I am also reading Clean Eats.  It is a great book about resetting your body's natural balance filled with some recipes that look really good and healthy.

It has been super cold here lately but I took these two on a picnic to get out of the house.  I swear kids don't get cold like adults.  Either way they loved packing up snacks and eating on my $6 gas station blanket:)

Several of you wanted to know where to find the shirts I ordered Matt and I for Taco for night-
I found them online HERE

ah, yes clean eats is a good one!! i honestly think you'd love the whole30 challenge. the no-booze part sucks but so far it's been kinda fun experimenting with really clean food. this sounds so bad but once the 30 days is over i'd consider doing another round...but with alcohol hahha. i miss champagne! i can't remember if you've blogged about wanting to read this before but you should deffffinitely check out "the good girl." i'm reading it right now! and if i already told you that, well, i blame this damn detox for my failing memory. xo

I loved Still Alice, too-- cover to cover in one weekend! As soon as I finished, I looked up the author, Lisa Genova, to see if she has any other books and once I read the summary to Left Neglected, I added it to my Kindle immediately. Again, I couldn't put it down and finished in a couple of days! I think her books are so intriguing because she was a scientist first, then author, so she knows her subject matter well enough that she can write about it in a way that her readers can understand, and you feel like you're reading about a friend-- so relatable and... real. Let us know what you choose next!
