Shopbop Sale Part 2 | Items in my Closet

I wanted to share a few other items from the Shopbop sale that I own and love.  I can't believe how fast sizes are selling out, I had a few things in my cart that quickly disappeared.
Don't forget to use MAINEVENT16 when you check out.

I have a size small in this dress.  I have worn it with sandals and boots so it is pretty versatile.  I really love the colors for Fall.

I wear an XS in this style.  This is one of my favorite Mara styles.  It is great for church, running errands or going out.

This is hands down my favorite off shoulder blouse.  I own the green, blue, and black colors.  This runs on the large side so size down a size.  I wear an XS.

The blue is now more a navy color.

One of my favorite everyday purses.  I am carrying the blue version above.
I don't even need to explain my love for leopard, it runs deep.  This dress is one of those dresses that you throw on and feel like a million bucks.  My sister has borrowed this so many times I keep telling her she needs to buy her own!  It runs TTS, I am wearing a small.

The best leggings ever. I wear in size small in these.

I love these flats, they are so comfy they feel like you are wearing slippers!
This is a similar style to the first dress. I just love all of Mara's patterns, they make me happy.  I am wearing a small in this dress.  It also looks really cute with gray boots.

I have this in a dark brown color from a few years ago.  You can't beat the price.

also in a vegan leather option under $100.

This is already on sale so with the discount it comes to under $100.  Also comes in a pretty blue/white color.  I am wearing a small.

The Newton style is my favorite.  They sit higher up and are a slim fit.   I find they run TTS.  I love this darker blue.
This dress is great for during the day.  I am wearing a small.  I love this new red color for Fall.  I also own the black version as well.

I know Summer is over but if you have a vacation coming up or live somewhere warm this cover-up is the best. I have both the long and short versions.  They are so soft, sometimes I even sleep in mine!
also in a long version.

The best flip flops.  I wear these every single day. This tan color is my favorite.

Here are the items I have purchased so far:
Of course I keep going back and adding new things to my cart.  It is so hard to decide.

Hey Friends.  I wanted to let ya'll know the Shopbop Main Event Sale started today.  This is basically like their Friends and Family Event.  If you spend up to $500 you save 25% and if you spend $500 or more you save 30%.  The event is only for 3 days so if you shop early you will have the best size selections.
Don't forget to use code MAINEVENT16 when you check out
Below are a few favorites.  I always think this sale is a great time to buy investment pieces.  There are a few Fall pieces I have had my eye on that I plan to buy now.

This is the best time to buy Rag and Bone booties.  Order up a 1/2 size in these as they run small.  I have said it a million times but Rag and Bone boots are worth the investment.  The quality is great and they are comfortable.  I can wear these all day and my feet don't hurt.

I also love my Newbury boots, I own these in gray, black and brown.  They don't run quite as small as the Harrow.

You know my love for Mara never ends.  I ordered this dress.  I am headed to NYC next week and plan to pack it!

I love this tee shirt so much, it is on the pricey side for a tee but I can't tell you how often I wear mine.  This wine color is perfect for Fall.

I own this sweatshirt too and it is so soft!  I toss it on most night with my lounge pants when I am chilly.  I have a size XS.
It also comes in black.

I have a similar version of this dress in white.  The black is gorgeous, perfect for any weddings or upcoming holiday parties.

My favorite jeans.  They run TTS.

These are hands down my favorite pumps.  They run TTS and I can't tell you how often I wear mine.
I recently bought this and love it.  It is nice and lightweight for this time of the year and has the cutest split back.  I ordered a size small.

This is also a great time to invest in a Claire V Clutch.  The leopard is my favorite!

I love my Missoni scarfs so much.  I like this new style with the fringe.  The black/tan would go with everything.

I am obsessed with this sweater.  It also comes in black.

I love the Maria high wise jeans.  They suck everything in.  This gray color is a new favorite for Fall.

I own these black ones and trust me they are so flattering.

I get compliments every time I wear these.  They are flattering on everyone.
and for any of you who are lusting after the Stuart Weitzman boots I posted yesterday you can now save 30%.  Stuart Weitzman rarely runs sales, they are usually excluded from this event.  Not many sizes are left though:)

So many great options!

Easy Week Night Meal Ideas | Freezer Friendly + Under 20 Minutes + Crock Pot

I had a reader request to share some easy week night meal ideas.  My reader was a new mom and wanted meal ideas that were easy to make ahead and keep in the freezer, slow cooker meals or just quick prep time meals.

Casseroles and lasagnas are always easy to make ahead and freeze.  Then at dinner time all you have to do is cook them.  Add a green salad and you have a tasty weeknight meal.  I also included some easy 20 minute and under meals as well.  Not necessarily meals you would freeze but just meals that are easy to whip together and don't take a lot of prep time.

An easy short cut for any of the dishes that call for shredded chicken is to use a rotisserie chicken.  This saves so much time plus lets be honest I don't love dealing with raw chicken.  You don't have to dirty up a dish either cooking the chicken.

This seriously takes less than 10 minutes to make.  You can serve this over pasta or with crusty bread.  it is only a few ingredients but full of flavor.

These are super easy to make and freeze.  If you want to freeze them mold them into patties and lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  Place the baking sheet in the freezer until they harden. Then you can remove them from the tray and place in a freezer ziploc bag and remove as needed.  Just make the fresh relish when you are ready to serve them.

I grew up eating this casserole and still love it.  It is not healthy but it is comfort food at it's finest.  This is a great one to make ahead and freeze.

I know lasagnas can take a bit of effort to prepare but they are really worth it and they save so well in the freezer.  You could easily divide this recipe in half and make 2 smaller lasagnas or one large one.

Leave the avocado and jalapenos off if you decide to freeze this.

If you want an easy week night dinner this one takes 5 minutes tops to toss together.  So easy and delicious.

You could easily add ground beef to these if you want but they are really good without the meat.  These take about 10 minutes to make.

This is one of my favorite slow cooker meals.  This beef is incredible.  It makes a ton so you could easily freeze some.  We use it for tacos and nachos.

If you are craving Thai food this recipe was really easy to make.   It takes under 20 minutes.  While the noodles cook just scramble the eggs and whisk together the sauce and you have dinner!

Quiches are my new go-to week night meal. Both of my kids will gobble up a quiche,  veggies and all so I consider that a winning dish.   You can whip a quiche together in 20 minutes tops and there are so many options.  I make up a new one every few weeks.  Last night we had chicken, roasted broccoli and smoked gouda.

If you want to make a quiche and freeze it, I usually cook it part of the time until the egg solidifies about 25-30 minutes.  Then you can let it cool and cover with saran wrap and foil and freeze it.

We almost prefer this to our tomato pie.  The addition of the zucchini and squash is really good in it.  Bake this partially and then freeze it.

I find soups are a really easy one pot weeknight meal as well.  Most of these soups I made in a big pot on our stove but I am sure you could cook them in your slow cooker if you prefer.  If you do the slow cooker I would wait and add the pasta at the very end so it does not get soggy.

I would love to hear any recommendation y'all have for easy week night meals!!
