Things I am Loving this Friday

TGIF my sweet friends.  On the docket for us this weekend is an Oyster Roast with friends and hopefully some time out on our boat, weather permitting!  Plus I need to spend some time learning to style my new middle part myself:)

Here are a few things I am loving as of lately.

I am so obsessed with my Chambray shirt so it is a no brainer I need this dress in my life.  I could see myself wearing this all the time.  Perfect dress for running errands.

{My New Go to Snack}
Back to Nature Crispy Wheat Crackers + Life is Good Spicy Lentil Hummus
Best combo ever.

{Girls Season One}
I realize I am so far behind on watching all the "cool" TV shows but I just picked up the Girls Season one DVDS and I am loving it.  It is just so real and refreshing.  Lena Dunham trips me out.

I have the short version of this necklace in hot pink and love it!  I wear it all the time.  I love the blush color this would go with everything!
Obsessed with this Charcoal Maxi dress.  What a great staple for Summer.  Love it casual or funked up with a statement necklace.  I love both ways it is styled on the Piperlime site.

I think these are going to be my new sandals for summer.  They would go with everything!

{Valentines Pretzels}
Sterling and I made these last night and they turned out fabulous.  They taste as good as they look.  Thank you pinterest!

Ok all of the food looks divine. Truly. Now. The chambray dress. Am I going to have the same hangups with that as I did the chambray shirt? I cannot decide. Happy weekend!

That eco tank dress is insane. I like it as is, but the two ways they styled it underneath make me want to run out and buy it asap. Do you think it would be long enough with tall girls like us?

Also, obsessed with humus. I eat it every day. I've gotten better about eating it with carrots and it's even more filling and healthier.

I'm so behind on cool shows. I just started Gossip Girl last month for crying out loud. Although I did go through all five seasons on netflix immediately.

Is Girls on itunes yet?

I just started watching Girls too! I have only watched 3 episodes but I'm hooked.

I love those neutral sandals. I have a similar pair by Steve Madden. That long tank dress is amazeballs.

To answer your question I work for IBM doing project management. Some days I love it but some days I'm overwhelmed! :-) Thank you for your encouragement. I am really lucky b/c of the great benefits and I don't work long hours.

I have been obsessed with those Joie sandals ever since first seeing them in Monkee's here in Raleigh about a month ago. Definitely worth the price for a sandal that would literally go with everything!

Love the chambray dress! Too cute. Those pretzels look delicious. And I love that quote--I could have really used that when I was younger. Hahaha. I don't think I "breathed" from the age of 20 to 25. Hahaha.

Oyster roast? How fun! Someday I WILL live in South Carolina!!!

Also - I think I'm going to make those pretzels for my fiance's office, I just hope that I don't indulge in all of them before they are gone.

i bought that dress at jcrew last fall and wear it ALL.THE.TIME. it's a little short on me (so will be on you too probably) but great with flats now or sandals in the summer with the sleeves rolled up.

those pretzels look to die for! yum!

I had oysters last night, and they were super yummy! Jealous that you get to enjoy more this weekend! Hope y'all get to enjoy the water. As for that J.Crew dress, I too loved it, but when it came, I didn't even try it on. The denim almost looked acid washed, and reminded me of one of my mother's maternity dresses back in the 80s!

I'm in need of a new show...I'll have to try Girls. Thanks!!

Loving everything!!! That dress is seriously amazing. The perfect canvas for dressing up with accessories. I may need to make those sandals mine for summer, as well. When you get a chance check out my open closet post for Style Spies! I would LOVE for you to see it! Happy weekend.

Hi-
Here is a similar Chambray shirt dress at Old Navy...it isn't identical to the J.Crew dress but at about 80% off the J. Crew price I am willing to try it! Today it is 15% off:)
