Leopard vs Stripes

I found two dresses I am obsessed with!  I obviously can't buy both so I need your help.  Take a vote and tell me which one is the best option.  They are both comparable in price.  I love different things about each of them and hoping I can wear both pregnant and not pregnant. So tell me leopard or stripes?

Stripes!!!! Love that dress!

They are both beauties, but I'm really loving the Equipment one! That could be worn all throughout the year. Then again... I can totally see you in the Joie.

Can't go wrong! I'm no help.

I love the leopard! However, you can't go wrong with either of them (I know that wasn't very helpful).

Do you use ebates? If not you should, you get a percentage of your purchase back in a check! This makes me feel less guilty for online shopping.

Leopard. The white makes me nervous if it got one thing on it... :)

Stripes, you can dress it up or down. I'm already picturing it with the J Crew sneakers...

Although they are both cute, I would go for the leopard. I feel like you can find a similar striped one at Old Navy or Gap for way cheaper. The leopard looks classic.

I say stripes for summer! I have a similar leopard dress from Target but I feel like it's more fall'ish.

Leopard looks fancier, stripes looks more daytime-y!

I vote leopard! They are both cute but I just love the leopard

The Joie is good for the summer (pregnant + summer heat = minimal clothing so you're not miserable), but the Equipment one is year round. And for a girl who recently wrote about debt & budgeting, I'd go with the year round dress! :) Both are cute, though!

I love them both so much but I think you'll get more wear out of the Equipment dress versus Joie dress.

i love them both... but you could get more wear out of the leopard because you could easily make it summer or fall appropriate! :)

I feel that these two are so different! The striped one is more summery while the leopard can easily be dressed down and up though it looks more dressier than the striped one. Don't know!!

Leopard!!!!! No question. You might get bored with the stripes. You'd look fabulous in either.

Can I be honest? I don't think you should get either. If you are in credit card debt with a baby on the way, $200+ dresses shouldn't be an option. I don't say this to be mean. I was so inspired by your post about getting out of debt and staying on a budget, but I continue to read and see you post things that are insanely expensive! I feel like you have mentioned over $1000 in purchases over the last two weeks alone!!! The boots may have been a great deal, but when you have -$0 to spend, they cant be yours! I had $15,000 in CC debt 10 years ago before kids and marriage. It was such a horrible feeling...I can't imagine carrying that burden when you have a family to consider. I'm sure you make some money through advertising on this blog, but please think about whether a luxury wardrobe is worth the price of burdening your husband and kids with debt. My husband and I paid off my debt as soon as we were married. Other than mortgage, we have no debt. It is SO hard. I love to shop and have friends who live in crazy nice houses and vacation often. I have to give myself frequent pep talks about what my priorities need to be. You are so pretty and have an adorable figure...don't justify spending $200 on a dress b/c it works for your bump and you can wear it later....with $200 you can buy a ton of fold over skirts and tanks at old navy/gap that will get you through the summer. Throw on a cute necklace to make it feel less generic. I stay at home with our kids, and I'm so grateful my husband's job allows me the opportunity to do so. I would never want to add stress to his role as the breadwinner by having him cut monthly checks to a CC bill to fund my shopping habit. Sorry if this comes off as harsh...I love your blog and respect you for putting it out there, but I don't know how anyone can afford to buy so many boots and dresses at that price point without going broke eventually. People will love you for who you are, not what you wear, and if they don't, you don't want them in your life anyway. Someone is always going to have more (or appear to b/c of insane debt)...don't waste your life trying to impress those people with stuff you have no business buying yourself.

I love both, but I would vote for neither. Save your money! Shop your awesome closet and wear something you haven't enjoyed in awhile.

Okay we are clearly the same person because I had my eye on both of those dresses too! I vote for the Equipment one because it can be worn year-round and can be dressed up or down. Let us know which you pick!
