Scenes From Our Weekend

Is it Monday already??  This weekend really flew by!
My House of Harlow Leather Station Necklace arrived and me likey. She is perfection.  I debated between the black and tan but ultimately chose the tan and I am glad I did.  I feel like it will go with everything.

I hit up the Farmers Market Saturday and got all sorts of great veggies.  I love the Farmers Market in a major way.  My main problem is narrowing down what I really want to buy.  I have to only bring a set amount of cash otherwise I would go crazy!
I came home and made and Avocado BLT with fresh tomatoes and spinach from the market!
I potted some flowers with my brown thumb. I am really trying to learn more about gardening and keep some plants alive longer than 1 month.  I also started working on my porch renovation.  One rocking chair is now high gloss white (it was black before).  Took a few more cans of spray paint than I thought, but I love the look.  Glossy white looks good on everything.

I saw these cushions at TJMaxx that I am considering for the rocking chairs.  I really wanted the Trina Turk cushions but at $300 a piece that is so not happening.   I want a pattern but I am thinking I want different colors than yellow and green.

I ordered the Tibi Ikat Shorts but I just can't decide about them.  They are pretty pricey for shorts and I felt like I did not have that many shirts that looked cute with them.  A white tank tucked in looked best.   Plus I am not sure they are super flattering.  Most likely returning them.

Had a blast with my little man at the Yacht Club. He is quite obsessed with swings and slides these days.

Last night we cooked this Thai Shrimp Noodle Rice Bowl Recipe recommended by WayWay.  It was off the hook.  Seriously freaking amazing.  We will be making it many more times.

Hope your week is off to a good start!

Ok. The shorts. I have to be honest. Are adorable on you. Even if you return them or not. You look darling. Shocker. That thai noodle bowl will be happening for us once we unpack from the move. Also, avocado BLT sandy??? Need it. Loving the necklace you got as well. Fab weekend Nat!

Might have to agree with you that high $$ for shorts might not be worth it. Jcrew has had cute patterened shorts in the past but have not looked this seasnon. That Thai noodle bowl might need to happen at our house this week!

I dig the shorts but the price tag might make them a return. They do look adorbs on you! I also think I need to add that necklace to my jewelry box!

om, that noodle bowl has been calling my name since I saw Way Way first talk about it. I really am going to try to make it. Only you can make those shorts still look flattering! What a great weekend!

We have a 7.99 fabric store here... Trina Turk fabric for 7.99 a yard? Yes! For that price you could get cushions made!

I love that necklace! And the shorts look great on you, though if they are pricey maybe it would be a good call to return them and get a cheaper yet chic version ;)

Love the shorts! I think they look great on you. The simple white tank really shows off their cool pattern. Your necklace is adorable, too. I can't get enough of our farmer's market and I hear you about wanting to buy everything in sight. Going to try those yummy BLTs. That may be my fav sandwich of all time.

Love the necklace in tan.. will be mine this fall!! (too much to hoard, i mean purchase until then). Did you know Reid's doesn't carry that Sauv Blanc you mentioned the other day, WTH?? The wine guy said the main purchaser lady doesn't like to stock in anything popular!? OK, whatever. Anyway... Did you see Luella and June just included those shorts with an outfit idea today? Head that way and see: http://www.luellajune.com/
They are soo cute!! These are bargain basement, but I tried them on and really liked them!! they look a lot more pricey than they are..

I think the shorts are adorable, how was a white or black silk top tucked in? A good way to dress them up? And that noodle bowl looks amazing, I don't eat shrimp but I wonder if you could sub out chicken?

Those shorts are seriously adorable! I find myself in a similar situation far too often. Why oh why do the cutest clothes have to have such a high price tag?

That thai noodle bowl looks delish! ...and I agree- how is it Monday already? Hope you have a great day!

i love that maroon t shirt you're wearing. where did you get it?

Where did you find your jean shorts? I've been looking for a pair forever, and they all seem to be too short (I'm not 18!) or too long (mom shorts!). But yours are super cute!

Hi Natalie!
Love your blog so much.

I was wondering about your iPhone case. Could you tell me what it is and what the brand is? Is it coral? I LOVE it in every picture :)

THANKS!
