Thoughts For Friday

Happy Friday Friends.  I am officially exhausted this has been a crazy busy week for us!!  But tonight I am excited because I am finally getting to meet two blogger friends in person- Sara and Mandy.

Yesterday I finally popped on the home decor store, Eclectic in Mount Pleasant.  Sidney has such a great eye for design and had some awesome pieces.  She is featuring WayWay Allen's artwork this month and it is all gorgeous.  I wanted several pieces!

and how cute would these animals be in a nursery?  So much like Jonathan Adler but cheap!  If I didn't have so much stuff in Frances Moon's nursery I would have bought one!
Her store is on Coleman Blvd, check it out!

Thanks to everyone who came to our La Senorita Jolie trunk show.  Their tee shirts really are my favs!  They are so soft and comfortable and a great price point! You can still order online thru Sunday and get free shipping with the code LSJ-DBDD.  My two favorite tops from the show were The Valentina and the Kylie
I am wearing a size medium in the Valentina and a small in the Kylie.
Also wearing my favorite distressed jeans. available here in black too which I love!

Thank you to everyone on instagram for all the great mascara recommendations. For years I have used Maybelline Great Lash and all of a sudden I hate it! I am looking for a new one.  I am testing out many of the suggestions and first up was the Loreal Voluminous.  I am going to wear it for a week or so to get a good feel for it but so far it is better than my old one!  Next on my list are : Josie Maran, Benefit, and Chanel.

Local friends if you have not eaten at the Square Onion in ION you must.  The Whitney veggie sandwich is my favorite!!  It is hummus and veggies on delish bread!

I am obsessed with watching my kids sleep, totally normal and not creepy, right??  Anyways I snapped this picture of Frances and it melted my heart,  a framer for sure!

I watched the most interesting segment on ABC News about Dan Harris, who had major anxiety and a panic attack on air which lead him to research happiness and resulted in all signs pointing to meditation.  It was so interesting that sitting and meditating only 5 mins a day can improve areas of your brain and help with so many other ailments.  I am convinced I need to clear my mind and meditate and I started reading his book, 10% Happier.  It really is so interesting.

I am dying to try out these amazing Napa Cabbage Wraps from Camille Styles next week.  They look so good!

These Vince Genna Sandals have me drooling, totally lust worthy.  Quite possibly the most perfect nude sandal I have ever seen!

For a cheaper version check out these by Joe's Jeans (who knew they made shoes).  Sizes are selling out fast because these are such a good deal and gorgeous too!

Lastly, I just love this picture of me and kids at bath time.  I count my blessing everyday for this sweet family of mine.  I love how much Frances already loves her big brother.  Sterling is so good with her always making her smile.

Have a great weekend!
xoxo

There are a lot of professional bag cleaning operators in Singapore, which have taken care of many luxury bags of several customers. Although there are a lot of competition within this market, but almost all of the bag cleaning operators in the region have reported significant increase in profit in every year.
ColorWash
This is the very first bag and shoe cleaning service operator in Singapore. It has different outlet locations in the region: China Square Central, Siglap Centre, Market Street Carpark are just some of the locations. Moreover, ColorWash also has outlets in Indonesia, Hong Kong and in the Philippines.
Cleanique Bags Service
Just like other professional bag cleaning service operators, Cleanique provides professional cleaning of luxury bags, as well as color restoration and other repair services. This provider aims to take care and renovate the customer’s stained and damaged designer bags both leather or fabric fashion.

After using Voluminous since college (& having my friends hooked on it too), I recently switched to Chanel (the one with the silver band on it.) You can't go wrong with either, but I do like Chanel better than Vol. LOVE your blog so much- always a great start to my day! Enjoy your weekend!!

Im drooling over those sandals! Also, thank you for the book recommendation its definitely going on my read list. My husband recently read Russell Simmons new book on mediation (I have never even seen him open a book and he read that book in one day, so it must be good) and he's been meditating ever since. I think its such a good thing to incorporate into our days. Oh and I'll say it again I love the Laura Mercier long lash mascara. Defiantly worth a try, it leaves your lashes feeling smooth and soft, not thick and breakable!

Oh my gosh, that picture of you with the kids is too cute! I love all your finds, thanks for sharing! Also, as far as mascaras I'm a big fan of that L'oreal Voluminous Million Lash but I think that the BEST drugstore mascara is hands-down the Rocket by Maybelline (it comes in a purple tube) - it is seriously AMAZING!

I started using eyelash primer under regular mascara recently and it makes the biggest difference. It's not even an extra step because you can spend less time/fewer coats of your regular mascara.

Love the Chanel mascara. Have never tried eyelash primer like one reader commented, I'm curious about that though. Have fun tonight!

Hello, I have been following your blog for a while now from cheshire,UK and must say wht a beautiful family you have. I saw your mascara post and must say I recommend Clinique high impact waterproof mascara, this stuff never budges! No smears all day, it only comes off with warm water and even then just rolls off rather than running all down your face.
